KiteSsotAndroidExtension

Everything Android-only, inside kiteSsot { android { ... } }.

kiteSsot {
appId = "com.example.jetzy"
version = "1.4.0"

android {
idSuffix = ".debug"
rebuild = 1

compileSdk = 36
minSdk = 26
targetSdk = 36
}
}

Shared truth stays at root. This block holds only what Android alone needs: the ID suffix, the version code dials, SDK levels, and two apply switches.

The plugin also exposes a read-only applicationId: Provider<String> here. It is the root appId joined with idSuffix. Read it to wire other build logic, for example into a manifest placeholder. You cannot set it.

Properties

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val applySdkLevels: Property<Boolean>

Whether compileSdk, minSdk, targetSdk, and ndk are written into compatible modules.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val compileSdk: Property<Int>

API level that supported Android applications and libraries compile against, written as compileSdk.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val filterResourcesToLocales: Property<Boolean>

Whether the selected app's resource locale filters are replaced with the root locale list.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val idSuffix: Property<String>

Text appended to the root appId to build the Android application ID.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val minSdk: Property<Int>

Lowest API level the app runs on, written as defaultConfig.minSdk in supported Android applications and libraries.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val ndk: Property<String>

Exact NDK toolchain version for classic Android modules, in Android's major.minor.build form, for example 27.0.12077973.

abstract val publishedVersionCode: Property<Int>

The highest code you have already uploaded to the store.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val rebuild: Property<Int>

The "Play already ate that number" dial: it bumps the last digits so the same app version can be uploaded again.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val scheme: Property<VersionCodeScheme>

Formula that turns the root version into the number above, for Android only.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val targetSdk: Property<Int>

API level the app declares it was built for, written as defaultConfig.targetSdk in Android application modules.

Link copied to clipboard
abstract val versionCode: Property<Int>

The number Play uses to order uploads. An Int in 1..2100000000, which is Play's documented cap.

Functions

Same as assigning scheme. Lets both the Kotlin and Groovy DSLs write scheme { v -> ... }.
