pnpm and configuring the lifecycle with package.json
and pnpm-lock.yaml.
This is the closest approach to classic JS/TS development. A developer can change to the source directory
and develop without using Gradle - the latter only providing additional toolchain and pipeline orchestation.
The only difference is the instead of having pnpm in the global path, the pnpmw wrappers inside
the source directory should be used to ensure the correct pnpm is called and the correct store directory
is included.
